We are a premium data analytics firm in Boston, delivering high-impact statistical solutions for leading clients. We are seeking a Senior Statistician to join our team and drive data-driven decisions through rigorous modeling and experimentation.
In this role, you will translate complex business questions into robust statistical analyses, collaborate with engineers and domain experts, and communicate insights with clarity and impact.
Responsibility
- Lead and execute end-to-end statistical analyses for business-critical projects.
- Develop and validate predictive models, forecasting, and inference using R and Python.
- Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data quality, reproducibility, and scalable pipelines.
- Design experiments and A/B tests, analyze results, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Communicate complex results clearly to stakeholders through reports and visualizations.
- Mentor junior statisticians and contribute to best-practice guidelines.
- Translate business questions into statistical specifications and deliver insights on time.
Qualification
- Master's or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, or a closely related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience applying statistical methods in industry or academia.
- Proficiency in R and Python for data analysis and modeling.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
- Experience with Bayesian methods and modern machine learning basics is a plus.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Portfolio of completed analyses or published work is a plus.
