Responsibility
- Lead field operations for boundary, topographic, and construction surveys with a focus on accuracy and safety.
- Manage survey crew schedules, equipment, and field data collection activities.
- Prepare survey plans, data spreadsheets, and final plats; review and QA/QC field data before delivery.
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, and project managers to define scope, milestones, and deliverables.
- Mentor junior staff, provide technical guidance, and support licensure progression.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal surveying standards and record keeping requirements.
Qualification
- Bachelor degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands on surveying experience; Licensed Professional Surveyor (PS) preferred or ability to obtain licensure.
- Proficiency with total stations, GNSS, drone mapping, and field data collection software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D).
- Strong math, geometry, and mapping skills; knowledge of boundary law and record research.
- Project management, client communication, and team leadership abilities.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to field sites.
