Responsibility

  • Oversee daily operations of breeder and nursery swine facilities to meet production targets while maintaining animal welfare, biosecurity, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and implement breeding programs, farrowing schedules, and wean-to-market timelines to optimize growth and profitability.
  • Manage on-site staff, scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to build a capable, proactive team.
  • Monitor environmental controls, feed quality, vaccination protocols, health monitoring, and welfare standards.
  • Ensure strict adherence to sanitation, biosecurity, record-keeping, and reporting requirements; coordinate with veterinary services.
