In this role, you will partner with finance and operations teams to ensure accurate tax reporting, optimize tax positions, and maintain compliance with evolving tax laws. This role offers a clear path to seniority and specialization in corporate taxation.

Responsibility

  • Prepare and review corporate income tax returns and supporting schedules for federal, state, and local jurisdictions.
  • Assist with ASC 740 tax accounting, including effective tax rate calculations and disclosures.
  • Support transfer pricing documentation, benchmarking analyses, and compliance with OECD guidelines.
  • Coordinate with external auditors on tax-related matters and provide responsive information as needed.
  • Monitor tax law changes, assess impact on the organization, and propose compliant planning strategies.
  • Participate in quarterly and annual tax provisions, including reconciliations and tax-related disclosures.
  • Assist with tax controversy matters, including audits and dispute resolution.
  • Develop process improvements and scalable tax workflows using tax software and ERP systems.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or Enrolled Agent preferred
  • 3+ years of corporate tax experience, ideally in professional services, manufacturing, or technology sectors
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state corporate tax compliance and ASC 740 standards
  • Experience with transfer pricing documentation and TP risk assessment
  • Proficiency in tax software, Excel (advanced), and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and handle confidential information
