As a valued member of our production team, you will coordinate communication across departments, manage rehearsal and performance schedules, and ensure that each show runs on time with precision.
Responsibility
- Lead the call script and stage operations to ensure every cue is executed flawlessly.
- Coordinate rehearsals, tech runs, and performances with directors, designers, and crew.
- Manage show documentation including cue sheets, risk assessments, and production calendars.
- Oversee safety protocols, equipment checks, and compliance with venue policies.
- Supervise stage crew, dressing rooms, and prop management during performances.
- Collaborate with front of house and production departments to ensure seamless transitions.
- Communicate clearly and promptly with management about any on site issues or changes.
Qualification
- Proven experience as a stage manager or assistant stage manager in a professional theater.
- Strong knowledge of cueing, blocking, and script management.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to lead a team under pressure and maintain calm on stage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and basic fire and emergency procedures.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel for productions as needed.
- Proficiency with production software and digital cue sheets is a plus.
