Responsibility
- Deliver engaging undergraduate and graduate theology courses and seminars with a student-centered approach.
- Design, update, and assess curricula, syllabi, and learning outcomes to align with accreditation standards.
- Mentor students in academic research, writing, and spiritual formation; supervise theses and capstone projects.
- Lead and participate in seminars, devotional gatherings, and ministry practicums.
- Conduct original theological research, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and present at conferences.
- Collaborate with colleagues on program development, interfaith initiatives, and community outreach.
- Contribute to faculty governance, accreditation processes, and program assessment.
Qualification
- Terminal degree in Theology, Religious Studies, or a closely related field; PhD preferred, ABD considered with a clear timeline.
- Evidence of excellence in teaching and mentorship at college/university or seminary level.
- Strong research portfolio in areas such as biblical studies, systematic theology, church history, or practical theology.
- Ability to design engaging courses across diverse learning styles and modalities (in-person and online).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; record of scholarly publication.
- Commitment to inclusive, faith-based education that engages with diverse communities.
- Willingness to collaborate with local churches, NGOs, and academic partners.
