Job description

Beacon Hill Theological Institute is seeking a dynamic, scholar-practitioner to join our faculty as a full-time Theology Professor. Responsibility

  • Lead seminars, supervise student research, and mentor junior faculty and adjunct instructors.
  • Engage in scholarly research leading to publications and conference presentations.
  • Participate in institutional committees, accreditation processes, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Provide pastoral care and spiritual formation opportunities to students and staff.
  • Represent the institute in public lectures, interfaith dialogues, and academic partnerships.

Qualification

  • PhD or terminal degree in Theology, Religion, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • Demonstrated excellence in higher education teaching with a track record of student mentorship.
  • Scholarly publications and evidence of ongoing research in theology or related fields.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and intercultural competency.
  • Experience with course design, assessment, and using learning technologies.
