Join BrightPath Foundation, a community-driven nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth and families through hands-on volunteering. We are seeking a proactive Volunteer Program Coordinator to grow our volunteer network in San Francisco. This is a part-time role that offers meaningful impact, flexible hours, and opportunities to develop leadership and program management skills.
As a Volunteer Program Coordinator, you will collaborate with program leads to recruit volunteers, schedule activities, and advocate for volunteers' needs while ensuring a safe and fulfilling experience for all participants.

Responsibility
- Develop and implement volunteer recruitment campaigns across campuses, community centers, and digital channels.
- Coordinate volunteer onboarding, training, and orientation sessions to ensure readiness and safety.
- Schedule and supervise volunteer activities, events, and ongoing projects.
- Maintain volunteer records in the CRM and compile program metrics for reporting.
- Collaborate with staff and partners to identify needs and expand volunteer opportunities.
- Act as a point of contact for volunteers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Support fundraising and community engagement efforts through volunteer-driven initiatives.
Qualification
- Previous experience in volunteer coordination, community programs, or event planning preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 and basic data entry/CRM skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings as needed.
