Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate waste collection, recycling, and disposal operations.
- Ensure all activities comply with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
- Manage shift schedules, performance, and training for operations staff.
- Monitor equipment maintenance and ensure optimal functionality.
- Analyze operational data to recommend process improvements and cost efficiencies.
- Respond effectively to emergencies, safety incidents, or customer issues.
- Collaborate with environmental agencies and internal departments for project execution.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years’ supervisory experience in waste management or industrial operations.
- Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local waste regulations.
- Proven leadership with ability to train and mentor personnel.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours and respond to operational emergencies.
- Valid driver’s license (Class B CDL preferred).
