Responsibility
- Oversee daily operations of waste collection and recycling activities.
- Implement safety protocols, ensuring full compliance with environmental regulations.
- Manage and schedule a diverse team of drivers and technicians for operational efficiency.
- Track key performance indicators and generate periodic performance reports.
- Collaborate with municipal and commercial clients for high-quality service delivery.
- Coordinate fleet maintenance and equipment management.
- Develop and execute waste reduction and sustainability initiatives.
- Handle incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions.
Qualification
- Bachelorâs degree in Environmental Science, Logistics, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 3 yearsâ supervisory experience in waste management or logistics.
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal waste regulations.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage diverse teams with a safety-first mindset.
- Proficiency with route optimization and operations software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed.
- Valid driverâs license (CDL a plus).
