Responsibility
- Collaborate on pricing, reserving, and valuation analyses for life and retirement products.
- Develop, validate, and maintain actuarial models using Python, R, Excel, and specialized software.
- Analyze data trends, conduct scenario testing, and provide actionable recommendations to product teams.
- Prepare actuarial opinions, reports, and relevant governance documentation for clients and regulators.
- Support regulatory reporting, economic capital assessments, and solvency initiatives.
- Present findings to senior leadership and clients, translating complex results into clear business implications.
- Ensure model governance, documentation, and adherence to actuarial standards of practice.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field; pursuing ASA/CERA/ACA or equivalent.
- 2–5 years of actuarial experience in life, pensions, or risk analytics.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel; programming in Python or R; SQL experience is a plus.
- Experience with actuarial software such as Prophet, AXIS, Moses, or Emblem is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and strong project management.
- Commitment to continuing professional education and proficiency in actuarial standards of practice.
