Job description

Join Kroll’s Singapore Restructuring team as an Associate and play a pivotal role in helping clients navigate financial distress and complex reorganizations. You’ll work with senior bankers and global professionals on engagements that span corporate workouts, debt restructurings, and insolvency scenarios. This role combines rigorous financial analysis, data-driven problem-solving, and client-facing collaboration in a fast-paced, supportive environment. If you’re ambitious, detail-oriented, and ready to grow a career in financial advisory, this is the opportunity for you.

What you’ll do is support day-to-day project work, prepare and present financial models, watch for key metrics, help reconstruct business plans, and contribute to the preparation of client-ready materials. You’ll engage with cross-functional teams across regions, ensuring high-quality deliverables and timely communication with clients. Kroll offers formal training, mentorship, and exposure to high-profile restructuring projects that build skills in cash-flow analysis, distressed M&A, and stakeholder communications.

We look for collaborative, professional individuals who thrive in a team environment and are energized by solving complex problems. A successful candidate is proactive, organized, and committed to delivering exceptional client service while maintaining the highest standards of integrity.

Responsibility

  • Provide financial analysis and modeling to support restructuring engagements, including cash flow projections and scenario planning.
  • Assist with cash-flow forecasting, liquidity assessments, and balance-sheet analysis to inform restructuring strategies.
  • Prepare client-ready deliverables, including memo, slides, and financial models, under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Coordinate with clients, legal advisers, and other experts to gather information and track project milestones.
  • Help assess distressed assets, conduct viability analysis, and contribute to the development of recovery plans.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation, data rooms, and issue trackers to ensure transparency and control.
  • Contribute to cross-regional collaboration, reporting to senior stakeholders and participating in meetings with clients.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degrees or professional qualifications are a plus.
  • 1-3 years of experience in restructuring, corporate finance, financial advisory, or related fields.
  • Strong financial modeling and Excel skills; familiarity with PowerPoint and data visualization tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to clients and collaborators.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work effectively in a team.
