Join Aurora Bank, a leading financial institution delivering innovative banking solutions to retail and corporate clients. We are seeking a Banking Analyst to support risk, regulatory reporting and financial analysis within our Banking teams. This is a high visibility role in a dynamic, data driven environment in London.
You will work closely with Risk, Compliance, Finance and Technology partners to ensure data accuracy, timely reporting and actionable insight for senior leadership.
Responsibility
- Prepare and submit regulatory and management reporting packages including Basel III, liquidity and capital adequacy metrics.
- Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to support business decisions and profitability by product line.
- Monitor risk indicators and key risk and performance metrics, escalate issues, and implement controls.
- Support AML/KYC processes and due diligence for new client onboarding and high risk relationships.
- Collaborate with data, IT and business teams to improve data quality, automation, and reporting tooling.
- Develop executive dashboards and ad hoc analyses for Risk, Finance and Compliance committees.
- Participate in budgeting, forecasting and scenario analysis to drive strategic planning.
Qualification
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field; Master's preferred.
- 2-5 years in banking, risk, regulatory reporting, or financial analysis.
- Strong Excel skills; familiarity with SQL or Python for data analysis.
- Knowledge of Basel III, AML/KYC requirements and UK regulatory environment (PRA/FCA).
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Professional certification such as CFA, ACA, ACCA is a plus.
