Overview
FirstBridge Financial is seeking a highly motivated Senior Banking Analyst to join our Corporate Banking team in New York City. This role offers exposure to high-impact lending, risk management, and strategic advisory for mid-to-large corporate clients.
As a member of the Banking team, you will leverage data analytics, financial modeling, and market insights to support credit decisions and drive profitable growth.
Responsibility
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to analyze credit requests, profitability, and risk.
- Support loan underwriting, structuring, and syndication for mid-to-large corporate clients.
- Partner with Relationship Managers to craft tailored financing strategies and proposals.
- Prepare investment and risk assessment reports for internal committees and clients.
- Monitor portfolio performance, key risk indicators, and regulatory compliance.
- Identify process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership with clarity and impact.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 3-6 years of experience in corporate banking, credit analysis, or investment banking.
- Advanced financial modeling skills in Excel; familiarity with SQL or Python is a plus.
- Strong understanding of credit risk, Basel guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to present complex data clearly.
- Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
