Ayam Gepuk AG is seeking a strategic and results oriented Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead financial planning and performance for our fast growing F&B operations in Kota Bharu, Kelantan. As CFO, you will partner with the CEO to shape the company’s financial strategy, drive profitability, and steward capital efficiently in a dynamic, customer focused environment. This senior leadership role demands a hands-on finance leader who can translate data into decisions and create value across the organization.
In this role you will own all financial planning and treasury activities, ensure robust financial controls, and lead a high performing finance team. You will collaborate with operations, sales and marketing to optimize pricing, profitability and working capital. Responsibility
- Lead financial planning, budgeting and forecasting across the business, delivering timely, accurate reports for senior leadership
- Develop and execute fundraising strategies, manage relationships with lenders and investors, and optimize capital structure
- Oversee accounting, financial reporting and internal controls in compliance with Malaysian MFRS and statutory requirements
- Manage cash flow, liquidity and working capital to support growth and profitability initiatives
- Drive strategic cost optimization, pricing analysis and product profitability for F&B menus and operations
- Build and lead a high performing finance team; implement ERP and BI tools to enhance financial visibility
- Provide strategic insights to the CEO and cross functional leaders to enable data driven decisions
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA or CFA
- Minimum 8 to 12 years of progressive experience in senior finance roles, preferably with 3 to 5 years in a CFO or Controller capacity in F&B or consumer sectors
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian financial regulations (MFRS) and tax compliance
- Proven track record in strategic planning, fundraising and investor relations
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and financial analytics/BI tools
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills; fluent in English and Malay
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, cross functional environment with collaboration across functions
