PT Delta Sinergi Sekawan is seeking a skilled Chiller Technician in Surabaya to join our after-sales service team. This role focuses on ensuring reliable operation of chiller and air-dryer systems across our client base. You will work at customer sites providing on-site service, diagnostics, and repair to minimize downtime and maximize system performance. Responsibility
- Perform startup, commissioning, and acceptance testing of chiller and air-dryer systems at customer sites.
- Provide preventive and corrective maintenance according to schedule and manufacturer guidelines.
- Diagnose faults using electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant diagnostics; implement effective repairs.
- Perform overhauls and component replacements to restore performance and energy efficiency.
- Respond to field service requests, troubleshoot on-site, and minimize downtime for customers.
- Prepare accurate service reports, update CRM/maintenance records, and communicate findings to customers and team.
- Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to recommend enhancements or upgrades.
- Ensure safety, compliance with local regulations, and proper handling of refrigerants and equipment.
Qualification
- Diploma or degree in HVAC/R, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience servicing industrial chillers and air dryers; field service experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical controls, sensors, and mechanical components.
- Familiarity with safety regulations, refrigerant handling, and use of test instruments (manometers, multimeters, leak detectors).
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics and drawings.
- Valid driver's license; willingness to travel to customer sites; own basic toolset.
- Strong communication, troubleshooting mindset, and customer-focused service attitude.
- Fluency in Indonesian; basic English is a plus for technical documentation and customer communication.
