Responsibility
- Perform daily cleaning across all warehouse areas, including floors, loading docks, storage bays, and office spaces, to maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment.
- Sweep, mop, dust, sanitize surfaces, and manage waste collection and disposal following company SOPs and safety guidelines.
- Refill and restock cleaning supplies, maintain inventory, and report shortages or equipment issues to supervisors.
- Operate basic cleaning equipment (vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, buffers) and ensure proper maintenance after use.
- Monitor cleanliness of high touch areas and enforce sanitation standards to prevent hazards.
- Report maintenance concerns, leaks, spills, or safety hazards promptly to ensure quick resolution.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to minimize disruption during daily cleaning and shift changes.
Qualification
- Previous experience as a cleaner or janitorial staff, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper handling, storage, and safety procedures.
- Able to operate basic cleaning equipment (vacuum, mop, floor scrubber).
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 kg; capable of repetitive movements.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and time management skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team; willingness to follow instructions.
- Basic numeracy and English language skills; safety training or certifications are a plus.
