BrightStory Media is seeking a versatile Content Creator to produce compelling content across blogs, social media, video, and newsletters. This role blends storytelling, research, SEO, and audience-first thinking to drive brand awareness and engagement. Remote-friendly with optional in-office collaboration in Austin, TX.
As a Content Creator, you’ll partner with Marketing, Product, and Design to craft high-quality content for a diverse audience. You’ll own content calendars, develop creative formats, and adapt voice for multiple channels. Responsibility
- Produce high-quality written, visual, and multimedia content for blogs, social media, newsletters, and landing pages.
- Develop and manage content calendars, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with marketing campaigns.
- Conduct topic research, keyword research, and competitor analysis to inform content strategy.
- Collaborate with designers and videographers to create engaging formats (short videos, reels, infographics).
- Edit and optimize content for SEO, readability, and conversion, including metadata and internal linking.
- Repurpose content into multiple formats and channels to maximize reach.
- Monitor performance metrics and iterate based on data and feedback.
- Maintain brand voice and style guidelines across all content.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- 2+ years of content creation experience across blogs, social, and video.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and keyword research tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz).
- Proficiency with content management systems (WordPress) and basic HTML/CSS is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with deadlines.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Portfolio demonstrating versatility across channels.
