CurioVerse Media is seeking a driven Content Curation Specialist to join our growing editorial team in New York. You will design and deliver compelling content experiences across our platforms by assembling curated collections, playlists, and topic-based experiences that resonate with diverse audiences.
In this role, you will combine data-informed insights with creative judgment to organize assets, optimize discovery, and maintain editorial standards across all content. You will collaborate with editors, product teams, and creators to ensure timely, accurate, and ethical curation that aligns with our brand voice.

Responsibility
- Develop and execute weekly content curation strategies across digital platforms, including websites, apps, and newsletters.
- Source, evaluate, and organize high-quality content assets from internal teams and external partners.
- Maintain tagging, metadata, and taxonomy to optimize search and recommendations.
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and engineers to design curated experiences (collections, playlists, topics) that drive engagement.
- Monitor performance using analytics tools; translate data into actionable curation improvements.
- Ensure licensing, rights management, and ethical standards in all curation activities.
- Manage content lifecycle, archival processes, and version control to keep experiences fresh.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activity, and audience preferences to refine curation strategy.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Library Science, or a related field, or 3+ years of hands-on curation experience.
- Proven experience with content curation, editorial planning, and metadata tagging.
- Proficiency with content management systems (WordPress, Contentful, Drupal) and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Mixpanel).
- Strong research, critical thinking, and audience insight skills; ability to distill complex topics into accessible content.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with meticulous attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of SEO, taxonomy, tagging, and content discoverability.
- Project management and collaboration skills; ability to manage multiple streams and deadlines.
- Familiarity with licensing, rights, and ethical considerations in digital content.
