We are seeking a Content Curation Specialist who combines editorial judgment with data-driven workflows to build high-quality, discoverable content collections across platforms. This role blends content strategy, taxonomy, and stakeholder collaboration to deliver structured, engaging content for readers and users.
As a key member of our editorial operations, you will curate, tag, and organize assets, ensure consistency across channels, and contribute to the growth of our content portfolio.
Responsibility
- Develop and maintain content curation strategy and taxonomy for topics, collections, and playlists across platforms.
- Lead editorial curation of articles, media, and datasets, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and quality standards.
- Partner with product, design, and analytics to implement tagging, metadata schemas, and search optimizations.
- Oversee moderation and rights management for curated assets, ensuring compliance and licensing requirements.
- Monitor performance metrics, iterate on collections based on audience signals and business goals.
- Collaborate with content creators and editors to source, vet, and onboard high-value assets.
- Document workflows, establish best practices, and train teammates on curation processes.
- Represent brand voice while maintaining consistency across all curated experiences.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science, Information Science, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- 2+ years in content curation, editorial operations, or information architecture.
- Strong taxonomy, metadata, and tagging skills; experience with CMS and search tools.
- Proven ability to synthesize diverse sources into coherent collections; excellent editorial judgment.
- Data-driven mindset with comfort analyzing qualitative and quantitative signals.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
