This hybrid role blends editorial excellence with practical administrative support, helping us maintain a strong online presence and a consistent brand voice.
Based in Batac City, Ilocos Norte, this position is designed for a self-motivated professional who can work independently and deliver high-quality work on a flexible schedule. You will collaborate closely with our content and marketing efforts, ensuring every post reflects accuracy, readability, and search engine friendliness.
As a Content Editor & Virtual Assistant, you will edit and refine articles, blog posts, and social content for grammar, tone, and structure. You will manage the editorial calendar, coordinate with writers or freelancers, and help plan publication timelines. Conduct keyword research and assist with on-page SEO, metadata, and internal linking to improve organic visibility. You will also help manage content assets in our CMS (WordPress or similar), upload posts, optimize images, and maintain a clean content library.
In addition to content duties, you will provide light administrative supportâdata entry, scheduling, research, and client communicationsâallowing our small team to stay organized and productive. Responsibility
- Edit, proofread, and optimize blog posts, articles, and web content for clarity, accuracy, and SEO.
- Ensure consistent brand voice and style across all channels, including website content and social posts.
- Manage the editorial calendar, coordinate with writers and designers, and schedule publications.
- Conduct keyword research, implement on-page SEO elements, and optimize metadata.
- Create and optimize content in the CMS (WordPress or similar), including tagging, internal linking, and media management.
- Draft engaging social media captions and support email campaigns and newsletters.
- Handle light administrative tasks, data entry, research, and calendar management to keep projects on track.
Qualification
- Proven experience in content editing, copywriting, or virtual assistant roles.
- Strong command of English grammar, style, and editorial best practices.
- Familiarity with SEO fundamentals, keyword research, and on-page optimization.
- Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and basic HTML/CSS is a plus.
- Excellent time management, organization, and ability to meet deadlines in a remote setting.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
