Pulse Dance Collective is seeking a professional and passionate Dance Instructor & Performer to join our vibrant Los Angeles studio. This full-time role blends teaching, creative collaboration, and performance to inspire dancers across all levels.
As a key member of our artistic team, you will design engaging curricula, lead dynamic classes, and contribute to exciting productions in collaboration with our artistic director.

Responsibility
- Lead engaging contemporary, commercial, and specialty dance classes for diverse ages and skill levels.
- Develop creative curricula and choreographies for daily classes and showcase performances.
- Collaborate with the artistic director on season plans, repertoire, and casting.
- Oversee class scheduling, attendance tracking, and studio safety protocols to maintain a premier learning environment.
- Provide constructive feedback, audition coaching, and progression milestones for students.
- Mentor junior instructors and interns, fostering a culture of excellence and inclusivity.
- Participate in company rehearsals, outreach programs, and community performances as required.
- Contribute to marketing and outreach initiatives to promote events and classes.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Dance or equivalent professional experience; strong portfolio of performances.
- 5+ years of professional dance experience across multiple styles (contemporary, jazz, hip hop, or ballet).
- Proven teaching experience with the ability to tailor instruction to varied levels.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to motivate and inspire diverse groups.
- Excellent physical conditioning, injury prevention knowledge, and safety awareness.
- Availability for evenings and weekends; ability to travel for workshops or shows as needed.
- Professional demeanor, punctuality, and collaborative mindset; bilingual skills a plus.
