Lumina Brands, a premium branding agency renowned for elevating consumer brands, is seeking a visionary Director of Branding to lead strategic direction and creative excellence for our clients in the New York market.
In this role you will partner with executives to shape brand strategy, develop compelling identity systems, and drive cross-channel campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences. You will mentor a talented team of strategists, designers, and writers while maintaining rigorous quality and consistency across all touchpoints.

Responsibility
- Lead development of multi-channel brand strategies aligned with business goals and audience insights.
- Oversee creation and evolution of visual identity systems, including logos, typography, color palettes, and packaging.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and design teams to translate strategy into campaigns and experiences.
- Establish and enforce comprehensive brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all channels.
- Drive storytelling across digital, social, PR, and experiential programs.
- Manage internal teams and external agencies; mentor junior branding professionals.
- Measure brand performance, interpret data, and guide iterative enhancements to strategy.
Qualification
- 8+ years of branding, brand strategy, or design leadership experience, preferably with consumer brands.
- Proven track record launching or rebranding major brands with measurable impact.
- Outstanding portfolio demonstrating identity systems, campaigns, and storytelling.
- Deep expertise in visual identity, typography, color theory, and design systems.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication; ability to translate data into compelling narratives.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and brand management tools.
