Job description

NovaCommerce Labs is seeking a data-driven E-commerce Growth Manager to lead online merchandising, acquisition, and conversion initiatives for a fast-growing consumer brand. This role blends marketing, product optimization, and analytics to maximize revenue across our web store and marketplaces.

As a key member of the Marketing team, you will own strategy, experimentation, and execution that drives traffic, converts visitors, and increases average order value. This is a dynamic, remote-friendly role with strong collaboration opportunities in New York.

Responsibility

  • Develop and execute end-to-end e-commerce growth strategy across the primary web store (Shopify) and marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart).
  • Lead conversion rate optimization (CRO) programs through rigorous A/B testing, UX improvements, and funnel optimization.
  • Oversee product content management, catalog data quality, and SEO-friendly page architecture to improve organic visibility and conversions.
  • Plan and optimize paid media campaigns (Google Ads, social ads) in tandem with SEO and email marketing to maximize ROI.
  • Analyze customer journeys using GA4, build actionable dashboards, and present insights to leadership to inform decisions.
  • Drive pricing, promotions, and discount calendars to balance profitability and demand during peak seasons.
  • Collaborate with product, supply chain, and merchandising to ensure a seamless checkout experience and fast fulfillment.

Qualification

  • 5+ years in e-commerce growth, performance marketing, or digital commerce roles with a proven track record of increasing revenue.
  • Hands-on experience with Shopify or similar CMS, product data management, and catalog optimization.
  • Strong proficiency in GA4, Google Ads, and Facebook Ads Manager; data-driven decision-making mindset.
  • Expertise in A/B testing tools (Optimizely, Google Optimize) and CRO methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to tell a compelling data story.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Bonus: Marketplace experience (Amazon, Walmart) and familiarity with ERP/integration systems.
