Responsibility
- Lead kitchen operations ensuring consistent, high-quality dish execution across all services.
- Develop seasonal menus with emphasis on creativity, flavor balance, and profitability.
- Manage cost controls, inventory, vendor relationships, and waste reduction.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff; foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
- Maintain HACCP compliance and rigorous food safety standards across all stations.
- Collaborate with front-of-house to optimize guest experience and service flow.
- Oversee menu engineering, portion control, and plate presentation standards.
Qualification
- Minimum 7 years of progressive kitchen leadership experience, preferably in fine dining.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven track record in team development, mentorship, and performance management.
- Exceptional palate, creativity, and ability to balance flavor with profitability.
- Extensive knowledge of modern cooking techniques, plating, and trend awareness.
- Strong understanding of HACCP, food safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills; ability to manage high-pressure environments.
