Responsibility
- Lead daily production planning, scheduling, and resource optimization to meet demand while maximizing efficiency.
- Oversee QA/QC programs, including HACCP, GMP, traceability, and corrective actions.
- Partner with procurement and logistics to manage supplier performance and on-time delivery.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives (LEAN/Six Sigma) to reduce waste and cost per unit.
- Manage a cross-functional team of operators, technicians, and quality staff with a focus on safety and engagement.
- Develop and maintain KPI dashboards, generate actionable insights, and report to senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards across all facilities.
- Lead new product introductions (NPIs) from pilot to scale, including process validation and documentation.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, Operations, or a related field; MBAs or certifications a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of operations management experience in food production or a similar sector.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, sanitation, and food safety regulations.
- Proven experience with ERP/Manufacturing Execution Systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data analytics.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, project management, and change management abilities.
- Track record of implementing cost-saving and efficiency-improvement initiatives.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and travel as needed.
