Pulse Sports Academy is seeking a dynamic Head Coach to lead our Youth Sports programs in Austin, Texas. This role combines strategic program design with hands-on coaching to elevate athletic performance, personal growth, and team culture.

Responsibility
- Lead and design age-appropriate coaching sessions for youth programs across multiple sports.
- Develop comprehensive training plans, monitor progress, and adjust drills to maximize learning outcomes.
- Ensure safety, welfare, and safeguarding policies are rigorously followed during all activities.
- Mentor and supervise assistant coaches; lead regular staff meetings and performance reviews.
- Foster a positive, inclusive team culture that motivates athletes and builds resilience.
- Collaborate with parents, schools, and community partners to align goals and communicate progress.
- Plan and execute friendly competitions, showcases, and small-sided tournaments to demonstrate progress.
- Utilize data, video analysis, and feedback loops to continually improve coaching practice.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in sports science, education, or related field (or equivalent hands-on coaching experience).
- 3+ years of coaching experience with youth athletes; demonstrated success in program development and athlete progression.
- Coaching certifications relevant to the sport(s) you will lead (e.g., USSF, USA Basketball, NSCAA, or national equivalents).
- First Aid/CPR certification and a strong commitment to safety.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire action.
- Flexible schedule with availability for evenings, weekends, and seasonal camps.
- Proven ability to create inclusive, equity-focused coaching environments.
- Ability to analyze performance data and incorporate video feedback into coaching sessions.
