Momentum Athletics Academy is seeking a dynamic Lead Sports Coach to join our expanding team in Austin, Texas. You will lead coaching across youth and competitive programs, design periodized training plans, and mentor junior coaches to foster athletic growth and personal development.

Responsibility
- Lead high-quality coaching sessions across multiple youth and competitive programs, ensuring safety and engagement
- Design and implement periodized training plans aligned with performance and development goals
- Mentor and supervise assistant coaches, interns, and volunteers; provide feedback and performance reviews
- Monitor athlete progress through skill assessments, data tracking, and video analysis
- Collaborate with program directors to develop sport-specific curricula and enrichment activities
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment; enforce facility policies and injury prevention protocols
- Engage with parents and stakeholders; communicate progress and program opportunities clearly
- Represent the academy at competitions, camps, and outreach events
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Sports Science, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or related field; or equivalent coaching experience
- Minimum 3 years of coaching experience with youth or competitive athletes
- Current coaching credentials from a recognized body (US coaching certifications preferred); CPR/First Aid certified
- Strong knowledge of periodization, conditioning, and sport-specific skill development
- Excellent communication, leadership, and mentorship abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends; willingness to travel for events
