Join Klinik Mewah 6 Sdn. Bhd. as a Humanitarian Affairs Officer and play a key role in advancing humanitarian programs within our Mission. You will support the Project Team in context analysis, needs assessment, and strategic planning to ensure effective, timely, and accountable operations. This role offers the chance to work with diverse partners, field teams, and local communities to uphold humanitarian principles while delivering high-impact outcomes.

As a coordinator of humanitarian activities, you will contribute to program design, monitoring, and evaluation, shaping responses that meet urgent needs and promote resilience. You will work closely with stakeholders across the Mission, including field staff, partners, donors, and government representatives to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and donor requirements. Responsibility

  • Assist the Project Team with context analysis, situational assessments, and needs mapping to shape humanitarian activities.
  • Support program design, budgeting, and resource planning for timely, effective interventions.
  • Coordinate with field offices, partners, and stakeholders to ensure unified implementation and information sharing.
  • Monitor program progress using established indicators; collect data and prepare concise reports for management and donors.
  • Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures, guidelines, and knowledge management for humanitarian programs.
  • Prepare briefings, risk assessments, and situational updates to inform decision-making.
  • Support donor reporting, compliance, and documentation to meet donor and organizational requirements.
  • Promote learning and capacity-building through after-action reviews and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in international development, public health, humanitarian studies, social sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in humanitarian affairs, project coordination, or field operations (international or national contexts).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate context analyses into actionable program recommendations.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; Malay language skills are a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, data management, and basic data visualization; experience with monitoring & evaluation tools is a plus.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate in diverse, multicultural teams.
  • Knowledge of humanitarian principles, donor requirements, and compliance standards relevant to the sector.
