Responsibility
- Assist allied health professionals in the delivery of therapy and rehabilitation services to patients.
- Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Support clinicians by monitoring patients during therapy sessions and providing encouragement and motivation.
- Document patient progress and observations accurately for clinical records.
- Help coordinate patient appointments and manage therapy session scheduling.
- Educate patients and caregivers on the safe use of therapy equipment and home-based exercises under supervision.
- Assist in the implementation of therapy programs as directed by qualified therapists.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on patient care and departmental improvements.
Qualification
- Diploma or NITEC in Health Sciences, Allied Health, Community Care, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a healthcare, rehabilitation, or clinical support role is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members.
- Ability to follow clinical instructions and maintain confidentiality.
- A positive, patient-oriented attitude and a keen interest in patient care and therapy services.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work shifts or weekends as required.
- Physical stamina to assist with patient mobility and therapy activities.
