Responsibility
- Install, service, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential and light commercial customers.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions using diagnostic tools and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Perform preventive maintenance to optimize system efficiency and prolong equipment life.
- Repair or replace defective components such as compressors, capacitors, thermostats, and control boards.
- Load refrigerants, charge systems, and ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations (EPA 608 preferred).
- Document service reports, parts used, and recommendations for customers and dispatch.
- Collaborate with technicians and project managers to complete jobs on time and within budget.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining issues and solutions clearly to clients.
Qualification
- Valid HVAC license or willingness to obtain with jurisdiction requirements; EPA 608 certification preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on HVAC repair, installation, or service experience.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant systems.
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, crawl into tight spaces, and work in varying weather conditions.
