Responsibility

  • Install, service, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential and light commercial customers.
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions using diagnostic tools and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to optimize system efficiency and prolong equipment life.
  • Repair or replace defective components such as compressors, capacitors, thermostats, and control boards.
  • Load refrigerants, charge systems, and ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations (EPA 608 preferred).
  • Document service reports, parts used, and recommendations for customers and dispatch.
  • Collaborate with technicians and project managers to complete jobs on time and within budget.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by explaining issues and solutions clearly to clients.

Qualification

  • Valid HVAC license or willingness to obtain with jurisdiction requirements; EPA 608 certification preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on HVAC repair, installation, or service experience.
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant systems.
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, crawl into tight spaces, and work in varying weather conditions.
