Responsibility
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial and residential settings.
- Install, retrofit, and commission new HVAC units, ductwork, and related components.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and safety checks to maximize system efficiency.
- Test and balance air distribution, monitor refrigerant levels, and ensure compliance with local codes.
- Provide accurate estimates, materials lists, and timely project updates to customers.
- Keep detailed service reports, document work performed, and maintain clean, organized work areas.
- Collaborate with project managers, electricians, and building engineers to complete complex installations.
Qualification
- EPA 608 Certification (or willingness to obtain within 3 months).
- 2+ years of experience with HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Certifications in electrical or refrigeration are a plus.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, gauges, meters, and building automation systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and customer service orientation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
