Are you an accomplished Industrial Relations professional seeking a strategic leadership role in a high demand sector? EnerEdge Industries is hiring an Industrial Relations Manager to guide labor relations across our Houston operations. You will partner with operations, human resources, and legal teams to ensure policy compliance, constructive union engagement, and a fair, safe, and productive workplace.

In this role you will shape the IR agenda, lead collective bargaining activities, manage grievance workflows, and drive data driven decisions that reduce risk and improve outcomes for both the organization and our employees.

Responsibility

  • Lead and implement the industrial relations strategy across all Houston area sites; ensure compliance with federal and state laws and existing bargaining agreements
  • Manage collective bargaining processes, negotiation of agreements, and wage and benefits packages in collaboration with HR and senior leadership
  • Advise and support management on employee relations issues, investigations, grievances, and disciplinary actions consistent with policy and employment law
  • Partner with HR, legal, safety, and operations to develop and implement policies that promote a positive work environment and mitigate risk
  • Monitor labor relations metrics and trends; prepare reports and present insights to executive leadership
  • Lead internal investigations, conflict resolution, and mediation between employees and management as needed
  • Coordinate with unions and labor committees; negotiate acceptable solutions and ensure timely communication
  • Develop and deliver manager training on IR policy, grievance handling, and union engagement best practices

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations, Labor Law, Human Resources, or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in industrial or labor relations, with proven track record in collective bargaining and union negotiations
  • Deep knowledge of applicable labor laws and regulations including NLRA, FLSA, and OSHA
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, influencing, and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong analytical ability and experience with HRIS, data analytics, and policy governance
  • Proven ability to manage sensitive investigations with discretion and integrity
  • Ability to travel up to 15-20 percent as needed
  • Mastery of policy development, grievance procedures, and labor relations best practices
