As an Investment Analyst, you will contribute across the investment lifecycle—from sourcing and due diligence to financial modeling and deal execution. Responsibility
- Identify and screen investment opportunities aligned with the firm's thesis across multiple sectors and geographies.
- Construct robust financial models (DCF, comps, LBOs where applicable) to support valuation and decision-making.
- Perform comprehensive due diligence (financial, commercial, operational) and synthesize findings into clear investment theses.
- Prepare investment memos and present insights to the investment committee with concise, data-driven recommendations.
- Monitor portfolio company performance, tracking KPIs, covenants, and risk factors to inform value creation strategies.
- Coordinate with legal, compliance, and deal execution teams to facilitate closes and documentation.
- Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform sourcing, pricing, and exit opportunities.
- Support fundraising and investor communications as needed, contributing to transparent and compelling storytelling.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field; MBA or CFA/CAIA a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in investment analysis, private equity, venture capital, investment banking, or corporate development.
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills (DCF, comps, precedent transactions) with a rigorous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel; programming skills in SQL or Python are advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to craft clear investment memos and deliver compelling presentations.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Team-oriented, proactive, and capable of working in a fast-paced, high-feedback environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed and to participate in occasionally extended due diligence processes.
