Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive financial analyses including DCF, LBO, and comparable company models to inform investment decisions.
- Source and evaluate potential investment opportunities; manage deal processes from screening to closing.
- Perform industry and market research; build investment theses and risk analyses.
- Construct and maintain detailed financial models and investment memos for the investment committee.
- Monitor portfolio company performance; support value creation plans and exit strategies.
- Collaborate with legal, tax, and operating teams; manage due diligence data rooms and information requests.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; CFA or progress toward CFA strongly preferred.
- 3–6 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or corporate development.
- Advanced financial modeling and Excel skills; proficient in PowerPoint and data visualization.
- Strong analytical, communication, and storytelling abilities; ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
- Experience with due diligence processes, term sheets, and deal execution.
- Self-starter, highly organized with attention to detail; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to relocate or work on-site in NYC; eligible to work in the United States.
