Responsibility
- Consult with clients to assess hair goals and determine best techniques
- Perform cutting, styling, coloring, highlighting, and specialty treatments
- Lead color corrections and trend-driven looks with precision
- Maintain sanitation, safety standards, and tool maintenance
- Recommend products and up-sell services to enhance client results
- Mentor junior stylists and contribute to team knowledge sharing
- Manage appointment flow and ensure a premium guest experience
Qualification
- California Cosmetology license in good standing
- 3+ years of professional hairstyling experience in a salon
- Expertise in cutting, coloring, balayage, foiling, and updos
- Strong client service, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as required
- Knowledge of sanitation, safety, and state regulations
- Portfolio demonstrating diverse clients and techniques
- Team-oriented attitude and willingness to coach peers
