Responsibility
- Provide hair cutting, styling, coloring, and treatment services with precision and client satisfaction.
- Conduct thorough consultations to understand goals and lifestyle, forming customized styling plans.
- Perform color services including balayage, highlights, root smudge, and corrective color with safety and artistry.
- Maintain impeccable sanitation and adhere to salon standards for hygiene and safety.
- Build and maintain a loyal client base through exceptional service, aftercare guidance, and referrals.
- Stay current with industry trends via ongoing education and product knowledge training.
- Collaborate with team to ensure smooth operations, scheduling, and guest experience.
- Mentor junior stylists and contribute to salon culture and quality control.
Qualification
- Valid cosmetology license for New York State and ability to practice in New York City
- Proven experience as a hair stylist with color expertise including balayage and foiling
- Excellent communication, client service, and time management skills
- Proficiency with modern styling tools and color products; knowledge of professional brands
- Portfolio demonstrating creative styling, color, and transformations
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends on rotation
- Commitment to sanitation, safety, and high standards of cleanliness
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to mentor others
