Responsibility
- Provide expert hair styling services including cuts, blowouts, updos, texture services, and styling for events.
- Consult with clients to understand goals, lifestyle, and maintenance needs to achieve lasting results.
- Perform color services (balayage, highlights, single-process) with precision and safety.
- Maintain impeccable sanitation and safety standards in all work areas.
- Create personalized aftercare plans and educate clients on product use and home care.
- Upsell services and premium products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
- Mentor junior stylists and support team with constructive feedback and hands-on guidance.
- Manage appointment flow, minimize wait times, and contribute to a positive, high-energy salon environment.
Qualification
- Valid NY Cosmetology license (or equivalent) with standing in good regulatory position.
- 3+ years of professional styling experience in a premium salon setting.
- Proven expertise in cutting, coloring (including balayage), and advanced styling techniques.
- Strong client communication, relationship-building, and service-oriented mindset.
- Excellent sanitation practices and knowledge of safety protocols.
- Portfolio showcasing diverse clients, techniques, and outcomes.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
