We are seeking a Lead Makeup Artist who combines artistic mastery with impeccable client care to elevate our clients and our portfolio.
In this role, you will collaborate with photographers, stylists, and directors, lead on-set makeup applications, mentor junior artists, and curate versatile looks across genres. Responsibility
- Lead makeup for editorial shoots, fashion campaigns, weddings, and events in-studio and on-location
- Collaborate with photographers, wardrobe, and directors to realize creative concepts
- Prepare models and clients with skin prep, makeup application, and on-set touch-ups
- Mentor junior artists, maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene
- Curate and manage a versatile makeup kit, including color theory and luxury brand familiarity
- Adhere to timelines and deliver camera-ready looks for shoots and events
- Maintain strong client relationships, conduct consultations, and manage expectations
- Stay abreast of industry trends and contribute to portfolio development
Qualification
- Minimum 3 years of professional makeup artistry experience across editorial, bridal, and commercial projects
- Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility in beauty, fashion, and bridal looks
- Proficiency with HD makeup, color theory, contouring, and skincare prep
- Excellent communication, client service, and on-set professionalism
- Ability to work flexible hours, travel for shoots, and manage multiple clients
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and product safety; willingness to maintain studio hygiene
- Experience with lash applications, airbrush makeup, and prosthetics is a plus
- Portfolio-ready digital presence and ability to discuss concepts with clients and teams
