Join LuxeGlow Artistry, a premium makeup studio in Los Angeles, renowned for editorial, bridal, and red-carpet beauty looks. We’re seeking a versatile Makeup Artist to elevate clients with flawless techniques, on-set professionalism, and a passion for storytelling through makeup.
As a key member of our creative team, you’ll collaborate with photographers, stylists, and producers to deliver stunning looks across weddings, fashion shoots, and events. The ideal candidate combines technical mastery with a client-first mindset, a positive attitude, and the ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced environments.
Responsibility
- Provide on-site makeup services for weddings, events, and on-set shoots with precision and artistry.
- Consult with clients to understand vision, skin type, and lighting requirements; tailor looks accordingly.
- Apply modern makeup techniques, including airbrushing, HD makeup, contouring, and color theory application.
- Collaborate with photographers and stylists to achieve cohesive, camera-ready looks for editorial shoots.
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards, tool hygiene, and inventory management.
- Mentor junior artists, share knowledge, and contribute to booking and schedule coordination.
- Stay current with trends, product launches, and industry best practices; attend workshops as needed.
- Deliver exceptional client service, upsell services, and maintain a premium brand experience.
Qualification
- Three+ years of professional makeup artistry experience across bridal, editorial, and on-set work.
- Proficient with a wide range of products, textures, and skin tones; strong color theory and contouring skills.
- Portfolio demonstrating diverse looks and ability to adapt to different lighting and contexts.
- Certified or licensed makeup artist in California preferred; up-to-date sanitation knowledge.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and shoots; reliable transportation.
- Strong references from past clients or studios; a proactive team player with a positive attitude.
