Responsibility
- Provide professional makeup services for bridal, editorial, fashion, and special events with precision and artistry.
- Consult with clients to understand vision, skin concerns, and lighting considerations; perform skin analysis and prep.
- Apply makeup using high end and professional products; select palettes, textures, and finishes to achieve agreed looks; ensure longevity and camera readiness.
- Maintain strict sanitation and safety protocols; sterilize tools, sanitize kit, and manage product hygiene according to health guidelines.
- Collaborate with photographers, stylists, and directors on set; adapt looks for lighting and mood and deliver flawless results under time constraints.
- Manage scheduling, bookings, communications, and post-event touch ups as needed; maintain thorough client notes and portfolios.
- Continuously update portfolio and skills through trend research and ongoing training; contribute to studio growth and client referrals.
Qualification
- Minimum 3 years of professional makeup artistry experience, with strong bridal, editorial, or fashion credits.
- Proficiency in makeup techniques including contouring, shading, color theory, and airbrushing; ability to adapt to diverse skin tones.
- Excellent communication, client service, and time-management skills; ability to read clients and manage expectations.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across looks, lighting, and camera-friendly finishes.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and ability to maintain a clean, organized kit; familiarity with product safety and allergy awareness.
- Studio or on-location experience; willingness to travel for shoots and events; reliable transportation and availability on weekends/evenings.
- Passion for beauty trends and commitment to professional development; eligible to work in the United States.
