Join our leading maritime technology team in Singapore as a Maritime Navigation Specialist. You will support safe voyage planning, route optimization, and integration of ECDIS, AIS, and nautical charts. This role combines navigation expertise with data analytics to deliver efficient, compliant seafaring operations.
What you’ll do include collaborating with bridge crews and fleet managers to drive performance, minimize risk, and ensure regulatory compliance across all voyages.

Responsibility
- Plan and optimize voyage routes to maximize safety, fuel efficiency, and on-time delivery.
- Maintain and update nautical charts, tide tables, Notices to Mariners, and cartographic data in ECDIS.
- Configure and validate ECDIS, AIS, radar, and other navigation systems for daily operations.
- Collaborate with bridge teams, fleet operations, and shore-based analysts to align navigation plans with corporate goals.
- Ensure compliance with SOLAS, COLREGs, and regional maritime regulations across all voyages.
- Analyze weather, currents, sea state, and traffic data to inform routing decisions (weather routing).
- Generate performance metrics, post-voyage reviews, and continuous improvement recommendations.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Marine Navigation, Maritime Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Professional navigation certification or STCW-compliant qualification; 3-5 years of watchkeeping or navigation planning experience.
- Proficiency with ECDIS (latest generation), AIS, NAVTEX, and voyage data management systems.
- Strong knowledge of COLREGs, SOLAS, maritime regulations, and risk assessment processes.
- Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making skills and familiarity with maritime analytics tools.
- Excellent communication in English, with the ability to brief crews and stakeholders clearly.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and in shift rotations.
