\nAs Marketing Manager, you'll collaborate with the artistic and production teams to create campaigns that resonate, maximize ticket sales, and grow our donor and sponsor networks. Responsibility
- Develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, radio, and experiential channels to promote performances and seasons.
- Lead audience development strategies to expand attendance among diverse demographics and communities.
- Oversee content creation, social media, email marketing, PR, and digital advertising to build engagement and ticket sales.
- Manage the marketing budget, vendor relationships, timelines, and performance reporting; optimize campaigns based on analytics.
- Collaborate with the artistic team to translate programming into compelling promotional materials, trailers, and artist interviews.
- Cultivate partnerships with schools, community organizations, sponsors, and media outlets to expand reach.
- Analyze audience data and market trends to forecast demand, set pricing strategies, and maximize revenue.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Arts Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of marketing or audience development experience in performing arts, theatre, or cultural institutions.
- Proven track record of developing campaigns that increase attendance and revenue.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; strong storytelling and copywriting skills.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Tessitura or Salesforce), email marketing, SEO/SEM, and analytics tools (Google Analytics).
- Experience managing budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong knowledge of the New York City arts landscape and community networks is a plus.
