As a member of our wellness team, you will assess client needs, customize massage sessions, and ensure safety and hygiene standards. You’ll collaborate with therapists and front-desk staff to provide a seamless guest experience from check-in to check-out, while maintaining accurate treatment notes and client records. The ideal candidate is personable, reliable, and committed to delivering outstanding service to an international clientele seeking authentic Balinese spa experiences.
Responsibility
- Perform professional massage therapies (Swedish, Deep Tissue, Balinese traditional massage, aromatherapy) tailored to individual client needs.
- Assess guest concerns, medical considerations, and preferences before sessions to deliver safe, effective treatments.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, sanitation, and studio safety according to local regulations and company policies.
- Document treatment notes and client records accurately; track progress and update records as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service, explain treatment options, and upsell spa services and retail products when appropriate.
- Collaborate with the wellness team to create personalized spa experiences for international guests; support front desk as needed.
- Assist in scheduling, equipment maintenance, and cleanliness of therapy rooms to ensure a calm, welcoming environment.
Qualification
- Certified massage therapist with valid licensing or registration (as required locally).
- Minimum 1-2 years of professional massage experience in a spa or wellness center.
- Proficiency in multiple modalities (Swedish, Deep Tissue, Balinese, Aromatherapy) and strong bodywork techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with an international client base.
- Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong ethical standards, professionalism, and commitment to client confidentiality.
- Physical stamina to perform routine massages and stand for extended periods.
