VectorGuard Defense is seeking a highly skilled Military Intelligence Analyst to join our fast-paced defense team in Norfolk, VA. The analyst will synthesize intelligence data from multiple sources to support strategic planning, threat assessment, and decision-making for military clients and national security programs.

Responsibility
- Collect, analyze, and interpret intelligence data from open-source, SIGINT, HUMINT, and ISR sources to produce actionable assessments.
- Develop threat models, produce operational timelines, and deliver concise briefings to leadership and field teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate intelligence products into operational planning and risk mitigation.
- Prepare intelligence reports, estimates, and presentations suitable for policymakers and senior commanders.
- Maintain data quality, ensure compliance with security protocols, and manage sensitive information securely.
- Utilize GIS and mapping tools to visualize terrain, routes, and critical infrastructure for mission planning.
- Support training and mentorship for junior analysts, ensuring rigorous analytic standards.
Qualification
- Active security clearance (appropriate level) or ability to obtain within 60 days.
- Bachelor’s degree in Intelligence Studies, Security Studies, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of intelligence analysis experience in a military or defense sector environment.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to convey complex data clearly.
- Proficiency with intelligence analysis tools, GIS, SQL/ databases, and data visualization.
- Excellent written and oral communication, briefing skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Willingness to travel as needed and comply with security protocols and ethics standards.
