Harmonic Echo Records is seeking a results-driven Music Licensing & Partnerships Manager to join our Nashville team. You will source, negotiate, and close licensing deals, develop strategic partnerships, and drive revenue through creative music placements across film, TV, advertising, and digital platforms.
This role blends music industry insight with business development, requiring strong relationship-building, project management, and a keen ear for compelling sync opportunities.

Responsibility
- Identify and cultivate licensing opportunities across film, TV, advertising, and digital platforms.
- Negotiate terms, rights, and fees with publishers, labels, and content owners.
- Draft and manage licensing agreements, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Build and maintain relationships with music supervisors, producers, and rights holders.
- Coordinate with internal teams (A&R, legal, finance) to close deals on time.
- Track KPIs, revenue, and deal performance; report to leadership with insights.
- Stay current on market trends, genre opportunities, and emerging platforms.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Music Industry, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years in music licensing, rights clearance, or business development within the music or media industry.
- Proven negotiation skills with track record of successful syncing deals.
- Strong network with music supervisors, publishers, labels, and rights holders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; fluent in contract language and risk assessment.
- Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail; command of licensing databases and CMS.
