What you’ll do:

  • Lead end-to-end music licensing workflows from discovery to clearance and billing.
  • Identify and secure partnership opportunities with labels, publishers, artists, and brands.
  • Negotiate licenses, fees, and usage terms that protect IP and maximize revenue.
  • Collaborate with A&R, marketing, and production teams to align music strategy with creative goals.
  • Manage contract lifecycle, metadata, and rights clearance in our CRM and CMS systems.
  • Track performance metrics, forecast revenue, and prepare quarterly partnership reports.

Responsibility

  • Develop and execute a scalable licensing strategy across media platforms.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with labels, publishers, and brand partners.
  • Lead negotiations for music clearances and usage rights with a focus on win-win outcomes.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of licensed music for projects.
  • Monitor rights expiration dates and manage renewal opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records in contract and rights management systems.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Music Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years in music licensing, rights management, or partnerships within the entertainment industry.
  • Proven track record negotiating sync licenses and brand partnerships.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and analytical abilities.
  • Knowledge of rights management software and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, TMS).
