Join Aurora Sound & Media as a full-time Music Producer in Nashville. We are seeking a creative, technically proficient producer who can craft compelling original tracks and collaborate closely with artists, composers, and engineers. This role blends artistic vision with practical project management to deliver radio-ready music and streaming-ready productions.
As part of our diverse team, you will own the creative process from concept to final master, while maintaining high production standards and an efficient workflow. Remote collaboration is supported for certain projects, with on-site sessions in Nashville as needed.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end music production for original tracks and collaborations with artists, songwriters, and engineers.
- Develop sonic concepts, arrangements, and detailed production plans that align with artist vision and brand identity.
- Oversee tracking, editing, mixing, and mastering to deliver commercially viable music across multiple genres.
- Collaborate with A&R, media, and marketing teams to ensure timely delivery and licensing compliance.
- Mentor junior producers and interns, sharing techniques and best practices.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency.
- Experiment with new production techniques and sounds to keep the catalog innovative and current.
Qualification
- 5+ years of professional music production experience with a strong, diverse portfolio.
- Proficiency in DAWs (Ableton Live and Pro Tools) and a deep knowledge of plugins, synthesis, and sampling.
- Excellent ear for arrangement, harmony, rhythm, and sound design; solid music theory foundation.
- Experience in recording sessions, vocal comping, editing, and high-quality editing workflows.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and project management skills; ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Comfort with tight deadlines and a fast-paced studio environment; willingness to travel for sessions as needed.
- Degree in music production, audio engineering, or related field preferred but not required; equivalent professional experience accepted.
