We seek a hands-on Music Producer & Studio Engineer to lead sessions, collaborate with artists, and deliver broadcast-ready tracks. Responsibility
- Lead and produce recording sessions from concept to final mix, ensuring artistic vision aligns with client goals.
- Collaborate with artists, arrangers, and engineers to craft compelling performances across multiple genres.
- Record, edit, comp, mix, and master tracks using industry-standard DAWs and outboard gear.
- Manage studio scheduling, session prep, and gear maintenance to ensure peak readiness.
- Provide creative direction during preproduction, vocal tuning, and arrangement decisions.
- Oversee licensing, metadata, and file delivery for distribution partners.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in music production, audio engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 3+ years in professional studio production or equivalent role.
- Proficiency with DAWs: Pro Tools, Logic Pro, and Ableton Live.
- Strong listening skills with ability to identify tonal balance, rhythm, and arrangement details.
- Experience with tracking, editing, comping, vocal tuning, effects, and mastering basics.
- Excellent communication, project management, and collaboration abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
