Join Al-khair Southeast Asia as a Partnerships & Fundraising Officer. In this contract role, you will build strategic alliances with humanitarian and charitable organizations across Indonesia. You will promote our programs, advocate for donor engagement, and support institutional fundraising initiatives to sustain impactful humanitarian work. You will leverage your network, craft compelling proposals, and work closely with program teams to maximize our reach and impact.

The Partnerships & Fundraising Officer will serve as a key driver of resource development, expanding our donor base and deepening engagement with partners who share our mission. Your efforts will help translate community needs into funded programs and measurable outcomes.
Your responsibilities include building and nurturing relationships with foundations, corporations, government programs, and individual supporters; identifying and pursuing funding opportunities; and leading crafting of proposals, reports, and communications that demonstrate impact. You will collaborate with program teams to align fundraising strategies with program goals, track performance metrics, and report progress to leadership and stakeholders.

Responsibility
- Develop and manage partnerships with humanitarian and charitable organizations across Indonesia.
- Identify and secure funding opportunities from foundations, corporate partners, government programs, and individual donors.
- Lead planning and execution of fundraising campaigns, donor engagement activities, and events.
- Prepare compelling proposals, grant applications, and donor reports; ensure timely deliverables.
- Collaborate with program teams to align fundraising activities with program goals and outcomes.
- Monitor fundraising performance, maintain donor pipeline, and report to leadership with data-driven insights.
- Represent Al-khair Southeast Asia in networks, events, and stakeholder meetings to raise visibility.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in development studies, public administration, communications, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in partnerships, fundraising, or grant management within nonprofit or humanitarian sectors.
- Proven track record of securing funds and managing donor relations; strong proposal writing skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English and Indonesian; strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency with donor management systems/CRM and MS Office; ability to analyze data and report on outcomes.
- Ability to travel within Indonesia; proactive, adaptable, and results-driven.
- Knowledge of ethical fundraising practices, compliance, and reporting requirements.
- Strong networking, negotiation, and project management capabilities.
